Part 2 of the Advancing Renewables Program Guidelines outlines the eligibility criteria that must be adhered to in order to be considered for funding. ARENA is able to fund only low emissions projects and activities that involve a renewable energy technology or technologies that increase the supply of, or improve the competitiveness of, renewable energy in Australia and have a clear nexus to renewable energy and its enabling technologies. Applicants are instructed to engage with ARENA prior to submitting an application online by first telling ARENA about the project. The process typically includes an Expression of Interest, followed by a Full Application, and applicants successful at the EOI stage will be invited to submit a Full Application.
