Who Can Apply

• Must be an approved early childhood education and care service provider under the relevant New South Wales legislation. • Must operate in New South Wales, excluding NSW Department of Education public preschools. • Eligible service types include community preschool, mobile preschool, long day care, family day care, occasional care, and before and after school care. • Proposed initiative must provide education and care to children aged 0 to 6 years. • Must be registered, or willing to register, with the Early Childhood Contract Management System (ECCMS) and any other required department systems. • Must agree to comply with the funding agreement terms and conditions. • Proposed initiative must be beyond the service's normal, core, existing or ongoing activities. • Must hold a quality rating and compliance history of at least Meeting the National Standard for the relevant service. • In limited circumstances, services rated Working Towards or awaiting assessment and rating may be considered. • Approved providers establishing a new family day care service must hold a quality rating and compliance history of at least Meeting the National Standard for a service in New South Wales.
Applicants must be approved early childhood education and care service providers under the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) and Children (Education and Care Services) Supplementary Provisions Regulation 2012, operating in New South Wales, excluding NSW Department of Education public preschools. Eligible service types are community preschool (centre-based), mobile preschool, long day care, family day care, occasional care, and before and after school care. The proposed initiative must provide education and care to children aged 0 to 6 years, be beyond the service's normal, core, existing or ongoing activities, and the applicant must be registered or willing to register with the Department of Education's Early Childhood Contract Management System (ECCMS) and comply with the funding agreement terms and conditions. Applicants must hold a quality rating and compliance history of at least Meeting the National Standard for the relevant service, although in limited circumstances services rated Working Towards or awaiting assessment and rating may be considered. Approved providers seeking to establish a new family day care service must hold a quality rating and compliance history of at least Meeting the National Standard for a service in New South Wales.
