Who Can Apply

Must be a Victorian First Peoples-led business with at least 51% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander ownership and operation. Must be based in Victoria with an active ABN and GST registration. Must be registered with the relevant regulator and comply with child safety requirements. Only applicants successful in the EOI stage are invited to submit a final application.
Applicants must be Aboriginal owned and operated businesses that are majority Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander-owned and operated, with at least 51% ownership and operation by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. Applicants must be based in Victoria, hold a current Australian Business Number, be registered for GST, be registered with the responsible federal or state regulator, and comply with applicable child safety requirements. This is a targeted program and only applicants who were successful in the expression of interest process are invited to submit a final grant application. Funding is available to recognised Victorian First Peoples-led businesses already operating in tourism or planning to explore tourism opportunities, as well as Traditional Owners, Traditional Owner Corporations and Registered Aboriginal Parties.

Projects are expected to build the capacity of Victorian First Peoples tourism businesses, support economic development in the visitor economy, strengthen cultural heritage stewardship, improve tourism products and planning, and deliver completed project activities by June 2027.
