• Must be a Victorian business registered in Victoria • Must hold an active Australian Business Number and have held that ABN on 2020-03-16 • Must be certified as an Aboriginal business through Kinaway Chamber of Commerce • Must have minimum annual turnover of 30000, or pro-rata turnover if annual turnover is not available • Must have been impacted by temporary COVID-19 trading restrictions • Includes sole traders and self-employed businesses • Not-for-profit, charitable organisations, community organisations, co-operatives and Australian public companies are not eligible • Businesses that already received 10000 or more from the Business Support Fund, Business Support Fund – Expansion program, or the third round of the Business Support Fund are not eligible
Applicants had to be Victorian Aboriginal businesses, including sole traders and self-employed businesses, registered in Victoria, holding an ABN that existed on 16 March 2020, certified as an Aboriginal business through Kinaway Chamber of Commerce, with minimum annual turnover of $30,000 or pro-rata turnover where annual turnover was unavailable, and impacted by temporary COVID-19 trading restrictions. Not-for-profit, charitable organisations, community organisations, co-operatives and Australian public companies were ineligible. Businesses that had already received $10,000 or more from specified Victorian Government business support grants were also ineligible.
