• Be a business headquartered in Queensland, operating and having its head office located in Queensland • Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) • Be registered for GST • Be majority female owned, with at least 51% of shares held by a woman or women for at least six months before application • Be female led, with at least one primary executive decision-making position held by a woman for at least six months before application • Have no more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees • Not be a subsidiary of a group of companies with more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees in total • Not have received investment through previous capital raises totalling more than $500,000 • Have an investment plan to approach new eligible investment entities within the next six months, or already have secured an offer of investment from an eligible investment entity • Have a clear innovation focus • Have a product or service beyond proof of concept • Have an established business plan and growth plan covering the next 12 months • Have a plan to use the funding to scale the business
Applicants must be businesses headquartered in Queensland, with operations and head office located in Queensland. They must have an active ABN and be registered for GST. The business must be majority female owned, with at least 51% of shares held by one or more women for at least six months before application, and female led, with at least one primary executive decision-making position held by a woman for at least six months before application. Applicants must have no more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees, must not be a subsidiary of a group of companies with more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees in total, and must not have received more than $500,000 in investment through previous capital raises. The female founder should also have an investment plan to approach new eligible investment entities within the next six months or already have secured an offer of investment from an eligible investment entity, a clear innovation focus, a product or service beyond proof of concept, an established business plan and growth plan covering the next 12 months, and a plan to use the funding to scale the business.
