Applicants must be Queensland primary producers affected by Western Queensland surface trough and associated rainfall and flooding commencing 21 March 2025. To be eligible, applicants must hold an Australian business number (ABN) and have held that ABN at the time of the disaster, be located in the defined disaster area and have suffered direct damage as a result of the eligible disaster, be primarily responsible for meeting the costs claimed in the application, and intend to re-establish the undertaking in the same area.

Eligible activities include equipment and materials for clean-up, additional labour costs, disposal of damaged goods and stock, repairs to non-housing buildings, reconditioning or repair of essential plant and equipment, hiring or purchasing essential equipment to immediately resume business, safety inspections by tradespeople, and essential repairs to premises and internal fittings not covered by insurance.Expected Outcomes
