• Applicant must be a local government council as defined under the Local Government Act 1993 No 30 • Applicant must be an eligible council listed in the grant guidelines • Applicant must be an authorised council representative • Applicant must provide the ABN of their organisation and any partner councils • Applicant must hold $20 million public liability insurance • Applicant must hold workers’ compensation insurance • Eligible councils may apply individually or in collaboration with other councils • Funding cannot be used for EV charging hardware or installation costs • Funding cannot be used for council staff salaries or internal council costs • Funding cannot be used for projects already funded by other NSW or Federal Government grants • Funding cannot be used for projects started or completed prior to the launch date of the funding round
Applicants must be a local government council as defined under the Local Government Act 1993 No 30, be an eligible council listed in the grant guidelines, be an authorised council representative, provide the ABN of their organisation and any partner councils, and hold $20 million public liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance. Eligible councils may apply individually or collaboratively with other councils. Projects must relate to capacity building for public EV charging and cannot include EV charging hardware, installation, software, energy costs, council fleet vehicles, council staff salaries, internal council costs, costs covered by other grants, or projects started or completed before the funding round launch date.
