Who Can Apply

• Must be an existing or new Australian incubator supporting innovative start-ups focused on international trade • Must have an active ABN and be an incorporated Australian entity, incorporated trustee, incorporated not-for-profit, publicly funded research organisation, or local government body • Project must include eligible activities/expenditure and have an eligible project value of at least $10,000 • Individuals, partnerships, trusts, and Commonwealth, state or territory government agencies are not eligible
To be eligible for an Expert in Residence grant, applicants must be an existing incubator or be establishing a new incubator that can foster and facilitate the development of innovative start-ups focused on international trade. Applicants must have an Australian Business Number and be one of the following: an entity incorporated in Australia, an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust, an incorporated not for profit organisation, a publicly funded research organisation, or a local government agency or body. Projects must include eligible activities and expenditure and have an eligible project value of at least $10,000. Incoming experts must not be current employees of the incubator and must provide a resume outlining their experience and capabilities. Outgoing experts must be embedded in a host incubator that will share capabilities and knowledge benefiting the applicant incubator. Individuals, partnerships and trusts are not eligible, nor are Commonwealth, state or territory government agencies or bodies.
