Who Can Apply

Must be based in Victoria and generally have a current ABN. Eligible applicants include local government, incorporated not-for-profits, incorporated Aboriginal entities, and incorporated social enterprises. Applicants must have no overdue reports from previous or current Department of Families, Fairness and Housing grants and must provide required attachments. Unincorporated groups without an ABN may apply via an eligible auspice; private for-profit companies, sole traders, individuals and charitable trusts are not eligible.
Applicants must be based in Victoria and have a current Australian Business Number unless applying through an eligible auspice arrangement. Eligible organisations include Victorian local government authorities, not-for-profit legal entities registered as charities, incorporated associations or corporations, incorporated Aboriginal entities including Aboriginal not-for-profit organisations, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, Traditional Owner groups or land trusts, and incorporated social enterprises with a clear mission related to engaging and empowering young people. Applicants must seek funding for eligible activities, have no overdue reports from previous or current grants funded via the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and include all mandatory attachments relevant to their application type. Unincorporated associations and community organisations without an ABN may apply using an auspice. Ineligible entities include private for-profit companies, sole traders, individuals and charitable trusts. Activities must be delivered in Victoria and cannot already be funded by other government programs.
