• Must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) • Must hold required insurances, including $10 million public liability and workers compensation • Must be ACT-based or deliver most funded activities within the Australian Capital Territory • Must show contribution to ACT net-zero emissions by 2045 and be GST-registered if applicable
Lead organisations must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), hold all insurances required by law including $10 million public liability insurance and workers compensation, be an ACT-based organisation or have the majority of proposed funded activities occur within the ACT, demonstrate a contribution to the ACT achieving net-zero emissions by 2045, and be registered for goods and services tax (GST) if applicable. Further eligibility criteria apply depending on the funding stream.

Projects, initiatives and research involving new and emerging technologies and ventures that support energy transition innovation and investment in the ACT, including technology demonstration, policy challenge activities and innovation ecosystem development.

Expected Outcomes

Supported projects are expected to contribute to the ACT becoming an export-oriented hub for energy transition innovation and investment and to demonstrate a contribution to the ACT achieving net-zero emissions by 2045.
