To be eligible, an individual applicant must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident holding a permanent visa. An applicant company must be an incorporated company carrying on business in Australia, with its central management and control in Australia. Funding is available for original new projects with budgets of up to $500,000 at the time of applying, made by Australian independent gamemakers. Eligible projects are at the ideation or pre-production stage and should demonstrate creative innovation and experimentation in gamemaking, represent or be developed by teams with diverse and underrepresented backgrounds and experiences, and/or target underserved audiences.
