Who Can Apply

• Residential applicants must own the home where the charger will be installed • Residential applicants must own at least one EV that will be kept at that home • Residential applicants must not have already received funding for a charger for that EV • Business applicants must run a business in the Northern Territory • The business property must be in the Northern Territory and used only for business, not residential, purposes • Business applicants must own the property or have a written agreement to use it • Business applicants must have the legal right to install a charger at the property • Business applicants must own at least one EV that will be garaged at the business property and used for the business • Business applicants must not have already received funding for a charger for that EV • Chargers must be installed by an approved service provider
Residential applicants may apply for up to $1,000 if they own the home where the charger will be installed, own at least one EV that will be kept at that home, and have not already received funding for a charger for that EV. Business applicants in the Northern Territory may apply for up to $2,500 if the business operates from a property in the NT used only for business purposes, the applicant owns the property or has a written agreement to use it, has the legal right to install a charger, owns at least one EV that will be garaged at the business property and used for the business, and has not already received funding for a charger for that EV. Chargers must be installed by an approved service provider.
