Who Can Apply

• Have received an invite from Local Land Services to apply for the grant • Be a recognised industry body representative of the respective industries in the impacted region or regions • Have an Australian Business Number and confirm whether registered for GST • Deliver eligible activities to producers of agricultural products within the defined disaster area for the New South Wales storms and floods from 22 February 2022 onwards (AGRN 1012) • Hold a minimum of 20000000 public liability insurance • Have a Workplace Health and Safety Plan • Be able to commence activities within 3 months of the commencement of the Funding Deed • Complete on-ground works and claim submissions by 2024-04-24 • Must not submit more than one application • Must not have applied for other government funding for the same activities
Applicants had to be recognised industry body organisations invited by Local Land Services or the Department, represent the relevant industries in impacted regions, hold an active Australian Business Number and confirm GST status, deliver eligible activities to producers of agricultural products within the defined AGRN 1012 disaster area in New South Wales, hold at least $20 million public liability insurance, have a Workplace Health and Safety Plan, be able to commence activities within 3 months of the funding deed, and complete on-ground works and claim submissions by 24 April 2024. Ineligible applicants included organisations that did not satisfy the criteria, submitted more than one application, or sought other government funding for the same activities.
