Who is eligible for the Dust Diseases Board Grant?
- Applicant must be a not-for-profit organisation.
- Applicant must be registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and/or the relevant state or territory regulator.
- Applicant must demonstrate experience providing support or similar services for people with dust diseases or their families, or provide services related to prevention and treatment of dust diseases.
- At least 70% of proposed recipients must be people who developed a dust disease while working in New South Wales, or their dependants or family members.
- Proposed program or service must align with one or more Dust Diseases Board Support Organisation Funding program pillars.
- Proposed program or service must align with the funding purpose of informing and educating people about dust diseases, supporting people through the compensation process, and optimising wellbeing.
- Interstate organisations may apply where they support eligible people in New South Wales or those who developed dust disease from working in New South Wales.
- The board may make exceptions at its discretion.
