• Eligibility criteria apply to both expressions of interest and full applications. • The administering organisation or institution must ensure all applicants listed in the Specified Personnel Details section meet the eligibility criteria. • There are various eligibility criteria, including criteria specific to the roles of CIs and PIs. • Applicants must refer to the Dust Diseases Board Research Stream Grants Program guidelines and submission protocols FY27 for the full eligibility requirements. • Funding cannot be used for indirect expenses such as membership fees, professional development, patent costs, entertainment, insurance, or mobile phones. • Funding cannot be used for salaries or on-costs for CIs or PIs, or stipends for CIs or PIs pursuing Higher Degree by Research. • Funding cannot be used for consultancy services involving minimal innovation or low risk. • Funding cannot be used for non-research production items unless they qualify as research. • Funding cannot be used for basic facilities expected to be provided by the administering organisation or institution. • Funding cannot be used for capital works, general infrastructure, international student fees, HECS/HELP liabilities, administrative overheads, personal expenses, non-essential travel, office furniture, or unapproved equipment.
