Who Can Apply

Current ABN, Victorian business registration and legal entity status required. Must own at least one still of 50 litres or more and hold required manufacturing and liquor licences. Applicants must provide a cash co-contribution of 30% or 50% depending on production volume. Government bodies, local councils, unincorporated associations, franchisees and non-Victorian applicants are not eligible.
Applicants must have a current Australian Business Number, be registered as a business in Victoria, be a legal entity, own at least one still with a capacity of 50 litres or more, hold a valid ATO Manufacturer’s Licence to produce distilled alcoholic beverages, hold a current General, Producer’s or Remote Seller’s Liquor Licence issued by Liquor Control Victoria, and be able to meet the required cash co-contribution of 30% or 50% of total eligible project expenditure. Ineligible applicants include producers of spirits that do not distil their own alcoholic beverages, government departments or agencies, local councils, unincorporated associations, franchisees, applicants that have applied for another state government grant for the same project, and applicants not based in Victoria.
