Who Can Apply
• Have a current Australian Business Number (ABN)
• Be registered as a business in Victoria
• Be a legal entity
• Own at least one still with a capacity of 50 litres or more
• Hold a valid ATO Manufacturer’s Licence to produce distilled alcoholic beverages
• Hold a current General, Producer’s or Remote Seller’s Liquor Licence issued by Liquor Control Victoria
• Be able to meet the required cash co-contribution of 30% or 50% of total eligible project expenditure
• Must not be a producer of spirits that does not distil its own alcoholic beverages
• Must not be a government department, government agency or local council
• Must not be an unincorporated association or franchisee
• Must not have applied for another state government grant for the same project
• Must be based in Victoria
Applicants must have a current Australian Business Number, be registered as a business in Victoria, be a legal entity, own at least one still with a capacity of 50 litres or more, hold a valid ATO Manufacturer’s Licence to produce distilled alcoholic beverages, hold a current General, Producer’s or Remote Seller’s Liquor Licence issued by Liquor Control Victoria, and be able to meet the required cash co-contribution of 30% or 50% depending on production volume. Ineligible applicants include producers that do not distil their own alcoholic beverages, government departments or agencies, local councils, unincorporated associations, franchisees, applicants seeking another state government grant for the same project, and applicants not based in Victoria.
