Applicants must be non-profit organisations based in a disaster-affected Local Government Area. Funding is available for up to $10,000 to repair or replace an asset that was controlled by the entity prior to the eligible event and was significantly damaged as a direct result of the eligible event. The applicant must have no reasonable prospect of obtaining commercial finance and must have used any available insurance or self-insurance fund before seeking assistance.
