- Must be a primary producer in Queensland - Must have sustained substantial damage to buildings, plant, equipment or stock from the eligible disaster commencing 24 December 2025 - Property must be in a defined disaster area or qualify as an individually disaster-stricken enterprise - Must provide adequate security and demonstrate ongoing business viability and reasonable disaster precautions (e.g. insurance)
To be eligible you must be a primary producer in Queensland whose assets have been significantly damaged by the North QLD monsoon trough, associated Cyclone Koji and severe weather commencing 24 December 2025. You must have sustained substantial damage to buildings, plant, equipment or stock as a result of the disaster, have a property located in a defined disaster area (or be assessed as an individually disaster-stricken enterprise if outside a defined area), provide adequate security for the loan, be able to demonstrate the ongoing viability of the primary production enterprise, and have taken reasonable precautions to avoid loss or damage from a disaster, such as having adequate insurance.
