Who Can Apply
• Applicant must be an eligible entity type.
• Eligible entity types include Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation, Company, Corporate Commonwealth Entity, Non-Corporate Commonwealth Statutory Authority, Corporate State or Territory Entity, Non-corporate State or Territory Entity, Non-corporate State or Territory Statutory Authority, Local Government, Cooperative, Incorporated Association, Statutory Entity, or Partnership.
• Trustees applying on behalf of a trust must themselves have an eligible entity type.
• Consortia are permitted if there is a lead organisation that is solely accountable to the Commonwealth and is an eligible entity.
• Only the lead organisation can submit the application and enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth.
• Consortia may include ineligible organisations except those on the National Redress Scheme non-joined list, the Workplace Gender Equality Agency non-compliant list, the NDIS Commission compliance action list, or organisations subject to a banning order under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013.
To be eligible, applicants must be one of the following entity types: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, Company, Corporate Commonwealth Entity, Non-Corporate Commonwealth Statutory Authority, Corporate State or Territory Entity, Non-corporate State or Territory Entity, Non-corporate State or Territory Statutory Authority, Local Government, Cooperative, Incorporated Association, Statutory Entity, or Partnership. Trustees applying on behalf of a trust must have an eligible entity type. Consortia are permitted if there is a lead organisation that is solely accountable to the Commonwealth and is an eligible entity. Eligible organisations may form a consortium with ineligible organisations except those listed on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined or signified intent to join, the Workplace Gender Equality Agency non-compliant organisations list, the NDIS Commission website for compliance action, or organisations subject to a banning order under section 73ZN of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013.
