Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, a Company, or an Incorporated Association. • If applying as a Trustee on behalf of a Trust, the Trustee must have an eligible entity type. • Consortia applications are acceptable if there is a lead organisation solely accountable to the Commonwealth. • Only the lead organisation can submit the application and enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth. • All proposed members of a network or consortium must be an eligible entity type. • All proposed members of a network or consortium must meet additional eligibility criteria in section 4.2 of the guidelines. • All proposed members of a network or consortium must not be an ineligible organisation under section 4.3 of the guidelines. • Applicants must demonstrate the experience and capabilities needed to achieve program outcomes. • Non-negotiable capabilities in the guidelines form eligibility criteria.
Eligible applicants must be one of the following entity types: an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, a Company, or an Incorporated Association. Trustees applying on behalf of a trust must have an eligible entity type. Consortia applications are permitted where there is a lead organisation that is solely accountable to the Commonwealth and is an eligible entity. For networks or consortia, all proposed members must be an eligible entity type, meet all additional eligibility criteria in section 4.2 of the guidelines, and not be an ineligible organisation under section 4.3. Applicants must also demonstrate the experience and capabilities needed to achieve program outcomes, with non-negotiable capabilities forming eligibility criteria in the guidelines.
