Who Can Apply

Must be a legal entity operating in Victoria in the construction and/or manufacturing sectors. Must have held an active ABN and GST registration since 2025-06-01. Must comply with National Employment Standards industrial relations obligations. For six-week training, must be an employing business with fewer than 200 employees; nominated employees must be based in Victoria.
To be eligible, the business must be a legal entity with an operating presence in Victoria; operate in the manufacturing and/or construction sectors; have an Australian Business Number (ABN) held on and from 2025-06-01; be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) on and from 2025-06-01; and have met all industrial relations obligations as an employer in accordance with the National Employment Standards. To be eligible for free six-week training courses, the business must be a small to medium sized employing business with fewer than 200 employees. The business must also agree to make nominated employees available for training in the selected round, provide an opportunity for employees to apply the training on the job, and ensure both the business and employees participate in future program evaluation activities. Nominated employees must be based in Victoria.

Accessing free specialist digital skills training, leadership workshops and trades-focused training in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, BIM, CAD/CAM, cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing, digital tools, emerging technologies and agile project management.

Expected Outcomes

Businesses upskill leaders and workers in digital capabilities, apply training on the job, improve technology adoption and innovation, and participate in future program evaluation activities.
