Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a landholder, or have approval from the landowner. • Project must be on a property within the Hunter Local Land Services region. • Applicant must have submitted an Expression of Interest to Hunter Local Land Services and been invited to apply. • Expression of Interest must identify “revegetation” in the Project Activities section. • Works must involve local native provenance plantings only. • Applicant must demonstrate some skills, understanding or experience in native revegetation, or willingness to attend training. • Revegetation area must be a minimum of 1 hectare in total per planting site per property. • If corridors are planted, they must be at least 20 metres wide. • Applicant must contribute at least a 1:1 cash and/or in-kind co-investment. • Funds sought can only be used for eligible items and activities. • Project area must be fenced from stock for the duration of the project. • Applicant must submit a photo and map of the proposed site. • Applicant must be able to complete proposed works within 12 months, or another agreed timeframe. • Applicant must be willing to enter into a funding agreement including a three-year maintenance period. • Applicant must hold or be willing to obtain $10000000 public liability/legal liability insurance. • Applicant must not have previously received funding for the same proposed works unless complementary and non-duplicative. • Applicant must have completed all works, monitoring and reporting for any previously funded Local Land Services/CMA projects before applying. • Only one grant per property is available under this program. • Proposed activities must comply with relevant local, New South Wales and Australian laws and permits. • Retrospective works are not funded unless otherwise agreed. • Applicant must have paid all current Hunter Local Land Services financial obligations before receiving a funding agreement. • Other land managers or organisations not listed are not eligible.
Applicants must be landholders undertaking local native provenance planting projects on properties in the Hunter Local Land Services region. They must have submitted an Expression of Interest to Hunter Local Land Services and been invited to apply, demonstrate some skills, understanding or experience in native revegetation, and provide at least a 1:1 cash or in-kind co-contribution. Projects must cover a minimum of 1 hectare per planting site, corridors must be at least 20 metres wide where applicable, and project areas must be fenced from stock for the duration of the project. Applicants must be the landowner or have landowner approval, submit a map and photos of the proposed site, be able to complete works within 12 months, enter into a funding agreement including a three-year maintenance period, and hold or obtain $10 million public liability/legal liability insurance. Applicants must not seek funding for retrospective or duplicate works, must have completed obligations for previous funded projects, may receive only one grant per property under this program, and must have paid current Hunter Local Land Services financial obligations before receiving a funding agreement.

Expected Outcomes
