Who Can Apply

Must have an active ABN and be registered for GST. Lead applicant must be incorporated in Australia, an incorporated association, or an incorporated not for profit organisation. Application must be a joint application with at least one project partner. Government departments cannot lead, and individuals and unincorporated associations are not eligible.
To be eligible, the lead organisation must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), and be one of the following: an entity incorporated in Australia, an incorporated association, or an incorporated not for profit organisation. Each application must be a joint application with a lead organisation and at least one other project partner. State, territory or local government departments cannot be the lead applicant but may participate as project partners. Applicants must certify that their board, or chief executive officer if there is no board, supports the project and that they can complete the project and meet costs not covered by grant funding. Applicants must provide a letter from each project partner and include all mandatory attachments. Ineligible applicants include state, territory or local government departments as lead applicants, organisations or project partners on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined or signified intent to join, employers of 100 or more employees that have not complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, individuals, unincorporated associations, and organisations not included in section 4.1 of the guidelines.
