Funded activities include cultural gatherings on Country, youth culture and wellbeing camps, digital installations about local Aboriginal history, statewide music or cultural festivals, online workshops, community celebration events, and cultural activities linked to regional sporting events. - Eligible entity types include Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander corporations, incorporated companies, Local Aboriginal Land Councils, incorporated associations, incorporated cooperatives, incorporated trustees, eligible auspiced unincorporated Aboriginal groups, and certain Aboriginal sole traders or businesses
- Applicant must deliver a service to Aboriginal communities within New South Wales
- Applicant must hold public liability insurance of at least $10000000 per claim or be willing to purchase it in the project budget
- Unincorporated Aboriginal groups must have an eligible auspicing organisation
- Individuals are not eligible
- Non-Aboriginal groups or organisations are not eligible
- Federal and state government agencies and bodies, including New South Wales public schools and hospitals, are not eligible
- For-profit organisations are not eligible, except certain Aboriginal sole trader businesses
- Organisations with unmet acquittal or reporting obligations for Aboriginal Affairs NSW grants in the previous two years are not eligible
- Organisations with redress sanctions under the National Redress Scheme are not eligible
- An organisation can only receive one grant from this program
