Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be authorised by the official manager of a Crown reserve. • Application must be submitted by an authorised person of the reserve's Crown land manager, or by a user group representative/officer with an official letter of authorisation. • Eligible authorised persons include specified officers of statutory Crown land manager boards, council Crown land managers, corporate Crown land managers, and certain other Crown land arrangements. • Project must be on New South Wales Crown managed land, including land managed by an appointed Crown land manager. • Activity must be consistent with section 12.29 of the Crown Land Management Act 2016. • Application must relate to a project or activity that has not yet commenced. • Crown land manager must have no outstanding overdue CRIF final project reports at the round closing date. • Non-council Crown land managers must have submitted their 2023-24 annual report by the round closing date. • Appropriate quotes or cost estimates must be provided with the application. • Application must address the funding round objective. • General applications must include one project per reserve only. • Freehold showgrounds, commons, freehold School of Arts, and Crown land directly managed by Local Land Services are not eligible.

Projects must be on NSW Crown managed land, including land managed by an appointed Crown land manager, and activities must be consistent with section 12.29 of the Crown Land Management Act 2016. The application must relate to a project or activity that has not yet commenced. The Crown land manager must have no outstanding overdue CRIF final project reports at the round closing date. Non-council Crown land managers must have submitted their 2023-24 annual report to the Department by the round closing date via the Reserve Manager portal. Appropriate quotes or cost estimates must be provided, the application must address the funding round objective, and a general application must contain one project per reserve. Freehold showgrounds, commons, freehold School of Arts and any Crown land directly managed by Local Land Services are not eligible in the 2024-25 funding round.
