Who is eligible for the Creative Capital?
- Applicant organisation must have a New South Wales address or operate in New South Wales.
- The proposed facilities or infrastructure must be located in New South Wales.
- Applicant must hold an ABN, ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or another Act.
- Eligible entities include local councils, joint organisations of councils, not-for-profit organisations, conservatoria, and local Aboriginal Land Councils.
- Public/private partnerships are eligible only if the lead applicant is an eligible entity.
- Section 355 committees may apply, but the relevant council must execute the funding agreement if successful.
- Ineligible applicants include local, state or federal government departments or agencies, including State Cultural Institutions.
- Ineligible applicants include educational institutions such as preschools, primary and secondary schools, universities and TAFE, except conservatoria.
- Projects must be based in New South Wales and be primarily for arts and culture use.
- Applications must demonstrate a co-contribution, in cash or in-kind support.
- Applications must show evidence of community consultation and improved arts, culture or heritage outcomes.
- Projects must not have already taken place or be due for completion before the funding period starts.
