Who Can Apply

• Applicant can be a not for profit incorporated body. • Applicant can be an individual or sole trader with a current ABN. • Groups or collectives may apply if a lead Project Administrator has an ABN. • Groups or collectives may apply with a nominated Funds Administrator. • Eligible locations include Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Nambucca Valley and Port Macquarie-Hastings. • Projects should start by 2024-07-01 and must be completed by 2025-02-28. • Applicants working with children and young people must supply a current Working With Children Check Number. • Applications involving Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists, communities or activities must include relevant letters of support. • All applications must have current Broadform Liability or Public Liability Insurance. • Applicants based outside the Arts Mid North Coast region are not eligible. • Interstate organisations are not eligible. • Professional touring groups are not eligible. • Commercial enterprises are not eligible. • Groups, ensembles and unincorporated associations without a Funds Administrator are not eligible. • Local, state and federal government departments, including schools except incorporated P&Cs, are not eligible. • Projects already funded by Create NSW or other funding for the same activities are not eligible. • Projects that have commenced or are completed are not eligible. • Core equipment purchases and capital expenses are not funded.
Applicants may be a not for profit incorporated body, an individual or sole trader with a current ABN, a group or collective with a lead Project Administrator who has an ABN, or a group/collective with a nominated Funds Administrator. Eligible applicants and projects must be based in the Arts Mid North Coast region, including Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Nambucca Valley and Port Macquarie-Hastings. Projects should start by 1 July 2024 and must be completed by 28 February 2025. Applicants must provide relevant support material, and where applicable a current Working With Children Check Number, letters of support from relevant Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artists and/or communities, and a current certificate of currency for Broadform Liability or Public Liability Insurance. Ineligible applicants include those based outside the region, interstate organisations, professional touring groups, commercial enterprises, groups or unincorporated associations without a Funds Administrator, Regional Conservatoriums, organisations seeking funding for the same activity from Create NSW, previous recipients whose prior grant use did not conform to guidelines, and government departments including schools except incorporated P&Cs. Ineligible projects include core equipment purchases, capital expenses, fundraising, donations, awards, competition entry fees, prize money, repayment of loans, general operating expenses, ongoing long-term projects, projects already commenced or completed, sporting or religious activities, educational course requirement activities, school curriculum delivery during school hours at a single institution, and reimbursement of already purchased items.
