Who Can Apply

• Applicants must be based in Bogan Shire Council, Bourke Shire Council, Brewarrina Shire Council, Cobar Shire Council, Coonamble Shire Council, Walgett Shire Council, or Warren Shire Council. • Eligible applicants include a not-for-profit incorporated body, a local government authority, an individual or sole trader, or a collective with a nominated administering body. • Applicants must have a current certificate of currency for Broadform Liability or Public Liability Insurance. • Projects must take place between 2024-05-01 and 2024-12-31. • Applicants must discuss their project with the relevant Regional Arts Development Organisation before submitting an application. • If the project involves working with children and young people, applicants must supply a current Working With Children Check number. • Applications involving Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists, communities or activities must provide letters of support from relevant Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists and/or communities. • Except for local government, applicants must provide a current financial report for their organisation and any administering body. • Interstate organisations cannot apply. • Professional touring groups cannot apply. • Commercial enterprises cannot apply. • Groups, ensembles and unincorporated associations without an administering body cannot apply. • Regional Conservatoriums cannot apply. • Organisations that have applied for or received Create NSW funding for the same activity cannot apply. • State and federal government departments, including schools except incorporated P&Cs, cannot apply. • Organisations with overdue reports or acquittals for funding programs administered by RANSW and/or Create NSW cannot apply. • Projects that have commenced or are completed are not funded.

Applicants must discuss their project with the relevant Regional Arts Development Organisation before applying. Additional application requirements may include a Working With Children Check number where relevant, letters of support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander-related creative content or outcomes, and current financial reports for all applicants except local government. Ineligible applicants include interstate organisations, professional touring groups, commercial enterprises, unincorporated groups without an administering body, regional conservatoriums, government departments including schools except incorporated P&Cs, applicants with overdue reports or acquittals, and applicants seeking funding for activities already funded by Create NSW.

Small-scale community arts and cultural projects such as workshops, arts activities within festivals or events, artist-in-residence programs, public art and design projects, performances, arts and cultural directories, community seminars and forums, exhibitions, and other local arts initiatives.
