Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a music business or organisation. • Applicant must be based in New South Wales or demonstrate a significant contribution/direct impact to the New South Wales contemporary music sector. • Applicant must be an incorporated entity or trust, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under relevant incorporation/co-operatives legislation. • Applicant must hold an active ABN, and may also hold an ACN where applicable. • Applicant must have a bank account with the same name as the ABN. • Applicant must provide at least a 30% co-contribution to the overall project budget. • Applicant may submit only one application per round. • Applicant must not have outstanding acquittals from previous New South Wales Government funding. • Project cannot start before 2026-02-01. • Project must be completed by 2027-01-31.
Applicants must be music businesses or organisations. Funding recipients must be currently based in New South Wales or deliver a significant contribution to the New South Wales contemporary music sector. Applicants must be an incorporated entity or trust (including a trust with a corporate or individual trustee) and hold an ABN or ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or the Co-operatives National Law (NSW). Applicants need an active ABN and a bank account with the same name as the ABN. Applicants must provide at least a 30% co-contribution to the overall project budget. Only one application may be submitted per round. Applicants cannot have outstanding acquittals from previous NSW Government funding. Projects cannot start before 1 February 2026 and must be completed by 31 January 2027. Ineligible applicants include organisations not based in New South Wales unless the proposal demonstrates direct impact to the New South Wales contemporary music sector, applicants who are not music businesses or organisations, and applicants unable to provide the required co-contribution.
