It is aimed at music businesses and organisations with a track record of delivering significant outcomes for contemporary music in New South Wales.

Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a music business or organisation. • Applicant must be based in New South Wales or demonstrate a significant contribution/direct impact to the New South Wales contemporary music sector. • Applicant must be an incorporated entity or trust, and hold an ABN or ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under relevant incorporation/co-operatives legislation. • Applicant must have an active ABN. • Applicant must have a bank account with the same name as the ABN. • Businesses or organisations with Annual Funding for Organisations 24/25 from Create NSW are not eligible for this round. • Applicants with outstanding acquittals from previous New South Wales Government funding are not eligible. • Applicants who are not music businesses or organisations are not eligible. • Only one application may be submitted per round. • Project cannot start before 2025-05-12. • Project must be completed by 2026-06-30. • Applicants with a primary focus in excluded artforms are not supported through this program.
Applicants must be music businesses or organisations. Funding recipients must be currently based in New South Wales or deliver a significant contribution to the New South Wales contemporary music sector. Applicants must be an incorporated entity or trust and hold an ABN or ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or the Co-operatives National Law (NSW). Applicants need an active ABN and a bank account with the same name as the ABN. Businesses or organisations with Annual Funding for Organisations 24/25 from Create NSW are not eligible for this round. Applicants with outstanding acquittals from previous NSW Government funding are not eligible. Applicants can only submit one application per round. Projects cannot start before 2025-05-12 and must be completed by 2026-06-30. The program is not for applicants whose primary focus is experimental music and sound art, contemporary classical, opera, choral and ensembles, music theatre, or working in and with community music groups.
