What is the Conservation Partners Grants?
How much funding does the Conservation Partners Grants provide?
Who is eligible for the Conservation Partners Grants?
- Must be a landholder with an eligible New South Wales private land conservation agreement or participation in the HSI Wildlife Land Trust program.
- Eligible agreement types include in-perpetuity conservation agreements, Trust Agreements, Registered Property Agreements, wildlife refuge or wildlife refuge agreements, and HSI Wildlife Land Trust participation.
- Applicants with conservation agreements entered as development consent conditions may be eligible only if they are not the proponent required to satisfy the consent condition and are not receiving funds for biodiversity offset obligations or development consent conditions.
- Applicant must be an owner of the land.
- Applicant must be either an Australian citizen registered for tax purposes in Australia with an Australian bank account, or an Australian registered company registered for tax purposes in Australia with an Australian bank account.
- Applicant must be fit and proper persons to enter into a grant agreement with the Biodiversity Conservation Trust.
- Cannot apply if you do not have one of the eligible agreements.
- Cannot apply if you have a new conservation agreement with the BCT and are receiving annual management payments.
- Cannot apply if you have a set aside conservation agreement under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 as part of compliance outcomes under the Native Vegetation Act 2003.
- Cannot apply if you have an agreement established for the purpose of securing a biodiversity offset, including a biodiversity stewardship agreement or BioBanking agreement.
- Cannot apply if you have a conservation agreement as a development consent condition and are receiving funding for management activities.
- Works already completed or funded from another source are not eligible.
