- Funds must be spent on conference organisation activities occurring in New South Wales
- Insolvent applicants are not eligible
- Individuals are not eligible
- Partnerships are not eligible
- Unincorporated associations are not eligible
- Private companies are not eligible
- Commonwealth, state, territory and local government agencies or bodies are not eligible, excluding government corporate entities
- Conferences that received OCSE funding in 2024 are not eligible
