Who Can Apply

• Must be an eligible not-for-profit organisation. • Eligible organisation types include incorporated not-for-profits registered with NSW Fair Trading. • Eligible organisation types include not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee with Deductible Gift Recipient status and/or ACNC registration. • Eligible organisation types include Indigenous corporations registered with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations. • Eligible organisation types include Local Aboriginal Land Councils. • Eligible organisation types include not-for-profit organisations established under Royal Charter or dedicated New South Wales legislation. • Must have annual gross revenue of less than $5 million. • Must deliver flood recovery and/or resilience services to individuals, families and communities in Ballina, Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Tweed. • Must have an ABN. • Must be financially viable and likely to remain so for the duration of the project. • Local Northern Rivers-based organisations may be prioritised.
Applicants had to be eligible not-for-profit organisations, including incorporated organisations registered and approved as not-for-profit bodies by NSW Fair Trading; not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee with Deductible Gift Recipient status and/or ACNC registration; Indigenous corporations registered with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations; Local Aboriginal Land Councils; and not-for-profit organisations established under Royal Charter or dedicated NSW legislation. Organisations needed annual gross revenue of less than $5 million, an ABN, financial viability for the duration of the project, and had to deliver flood recovery and/or resilience services supporting individuals, families and communities residing in the seven Northern Rivers LGAs: Ballina, Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Tweed.
