• Applicant must be a local government authority, including eligible LGA-managed trusts, or a community service organisation operating in Victoria as an incorporated legal entity. • Community service organisations must be incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2001 (Vic), or Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth). • Applicant must have a current Australian Business Number (ABN). • Applicant must have no outstanding final reports or final reports required for previous government grant programs. • Organisations without incorporation or an ABN may apply if supported by an eligible auspice organisation that agrees to manage the grant. • Project must occur in a bushfire-affected area in scope. • State and federal government agencies cannot apply. • Individuals and sole traders cannot apply. • Unincorporated community organisations cannot apply unless supported by an eligible auspice organisation. • Commercial enterprises cannot apply alone, but may partner as sponsors. • Fixed trusts cannot apply. • Registered schools, preschools, TAFE institutes and universities cannot apply, though they may act as an auspice organisation. • Applications for projects on public land must be endorsed by the relevant land manager.
