Who Can Apply

• Funding is available for eligible, directly damaged arts and cultural infrastructure in disaster-declared local government areas under AGRN 1012 and/or AGRN 1025. • Priority is given to 19 targeted local government areas, but other disaster-declared areas may apply if they can demonstrate strong alignment with the program guidelines. • Applicants must have arts and cultural activity or services as part of their core activity, business, or business units. • Applicants must be an incorporated entity or trust holding an ABN or ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or another act. • Eligible entity types include arts and cultural organisations, local councils, not-for-profit organisations, and Regional Arts Development Organisations. • For-profit organisations may be eligible only where the project delivers demonstrated community benefit. • A fund administrator may apply on behalf of an unincorporated organisation, sole trader, individual, or group. • Applicants must have, or be willing to purchase, at least $20 million in public liability insurance. • Applicants may submit more than one application for separate projects. • Ineligible applicants include organisations that do not satisfy eligibility requirements, unincorporated organisations unless applying via a fund administrator, individuals or sole traders unless applying via a fund administrator, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, and Australian or New South Wales government agencies, state-owned corporations, or statutory authorities. • Projects must restore, replace or improve infrastructure directly impacted by the February-March and June-July 2022 flood events. • Projects must support accessibility, inclusion or universal design standards. • Projects must be able to commence within 12 months of funding confirmation. • Projects must not include works or purchases already undertaken before application or due for completion before the funding period starts.
