Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be an incorporated entity or trust, including a trust with a corporate or individual trustee • Applicant must hold an ABN, ACN, or be registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 or another act • Applicant must have or be willing to purchase at least $20 million in public liability insurance • Eligible applicant types include existing funded Create NSW organisation clients, arts and cultural organisations, local councils and council-controlled entities, and Regional Arts Development Organisations acting as fund administrators • For-profit organisations are only eligible where the project delivers a demonstrated community benefit • Fund administrators may apply on behalf of an unincorporated organisation, sole trader, individual or group • Unincorporated organisations, individuals and sole traders cannot apply directly unless through a fund administrator • Pre-schools, primary and secondary schools are ineligible • Australian Government and New South Wales Government agencies, state-owned corporations and statutory authorities are ineligible • Projects must be directly related to directly damaged arts and cultural infrastructure in the 8 targeted eligible local government areas • The infrastructure must have arts and culture as a core activity and have been directly impacted by the floods • Projects must deliver eligible assessment, planning, protection, make-safe or urgent small capital works outcomes • Projects must be able to commence within 6 months of funding confirmation • Projects must not have already taken place or be due for completion before the funding period starts

Ineligible applicants include organisations that do not satisfy eligibility requirements, unincorporated organisations unless applying through a fund administrator, individuals and sole traders unless applying through a fund administrator, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, and Australian or New South Wales Government agencies, state-owned corporations or statutory authorities. Projects must relate to directly damaged arts and cultural infrastructure in the targeted eight eligible local government areas, have arts and culture as a core activity, deliver eligible assessment, planning, protection, make-safe or urgent capital works, commence within 6 months of funding confirmation, and not already be completed before the funding period starts.
