- Eligible festival activities must be held between 22 November 2024 and 31 December 2025.
- Individuals, partnerships, groups of individuals and unincorporated organisations cannot apply.
- Government departments and agencies, schools, tertiary institutions and TAFE colleges cannot apply.
- Previous Screen NSW or Create NSW recipients who have not met funding conditions or are overdue in acquitting prior funding cannot apply.
- Festivals receiving more than $150,000 in New South Wales Government contribution cannot apply.
- Festivals with an annual budget over $1,500,000 cannot apply.
- Multi-disciplinary or cultural festivals are ineligible where screenings and screen culture make up less than 75% of programming activity.
