• Eligible councils are Bass Coast Council, Baw Baw Shire Council, Cardinia Shire Council, Hepburn Shire Council, Latrobe City Council, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Moorabool Shire Council, Murrindindi Council, South Gippsland Council, Wellington Shire Council and Yarra Ranges Shire Council.
• Only one application can be submitted per local government area.
• An LGA applying as part of a regional partnership cannot also submit an individual application.
• Applicant must submit a Delivery Plan as part of the application.
Applications were invited from councils impacted during the June 2021 Flood and Storm. Eligible councils were Bass Coast Council, Baw Baw Shire Council, Cardinia Shire Council, Hepburn Shire Council, Latrobe City Council, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Moorabool Shire Council, Murrindindi Council, South Gippsland Council, Wellington Shire Council and Yarra Ranges Shire Council. Only one application could be submitted per local government area, and an LGA applying as part of a regional partnership could not also submit an individual application. Councils were required to submit a Delivery Plan outlining the financial request, proposed delivery dates, delivery approach to support local community groups and implement funds, and whether the program would be delivered within a single LGA or across several LGAs.
