Who is eligible for the Community Building Partnership 2025?
- Applicant must submit the project through the SmartyGrants online system.
- Applicant must be an eligible organisation, including a New South Wales association or non-distributing cooperative, Local Aboriginal Land Council, Indigenous corporation, local council or Section 355 committee, incorporated not-for-profit, ACNC-registered trust, or public company limited by guarantee.

- Organisations on the ACNC Register must have a current and up-to-date record.
- Applicants with CBP 2021 or CBP 2022 grants must have acquitted those projects by 2025-02-21 unless an approved extension is in place.
- Local councils and Section 355 committees must provide dollar-for-dollar matched funding in cash.
- Funding requests must be between $10,000 and $100,000.
- Project must be located in New South Wales.
- Eligible project types include capital works, freestanding equipment purchases, and vehicle purchases or modifications.
- Project works must not have commenced before the grant round closing date of 2025-02-21.
- Project must be completed by 2026-08-03.
- Development approval evidence must be provided where required.
- Capital works projects must include property or landowner consent.
- Applicant must hold current public liability insurance with minimum cover of $5 million.
- A detailed and itemised project budget is required.
- Quotes are mandatory for applications requesting $30,001 or more.
- Ineligible applicants include proprietary companies, companies limited by shares, individuals, unincorporated organisations, for-profit commercial organisations, government agencies and entities, and applicants applying on behalf of another organisation.
