Who Can Apply

• Eligible applicants are not-for-profit groups, fishing clubs, community organisations, individuals, New South Wales councils, and non-government organisations. • Applicants must be undertaking approved fish stocking activities in New South Wales public waters. • Applicants must contribute between $2,000 and $6,000 per application. • Funding is limited to fish purchase and delivery costs. • Fish must be Golden Perch and/or Murray Cod. • Fish must be supplied by an accredited fish hatchery. • Stocking sites must be publicly accessible. • Receiving waters must be suitable for fish survival and provide appropriate habitat. • Stocking sites must be within the natural range of the species. • Only one application per individual or group may be submitted. • Applicants must act under the authority of a fish stocking permit issued by the Department. • State or Federal Government organisations cannot apply. • Organisations or businesses that may or will realise a commercial gain from the project cannot apply.
