Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a commercial blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, or vegetable/edible herb grower operating under an ABN. • Works must be carried out within Coffs Harbour, Nambucca, Clarence and Bellinger LGAs. • Works must be in a coastal draining catchment. • Works must be completed on land already in use for horticultural production. • Works must be carried out on private land or managed (perpetual lease) Crown land. • Applicant must enter a contracted agreement with Local Land Services, undertake before and after monitoring, and complete a final report if funded. • A landholder can submit only 1 application per business. • Applicants must not have received prior funding for the proposed works from another funding source. • Funding requested should align with standardised costings unless supported by quote and justification. • Applicants must provide an in-kind contribution equal to or greater than the total amount of funds requested. • Applicant must commit to providing 5 years of site maintenance after project completion. • Funded works must be carried out and completed within the 2024/2025 financial year. • Applicants must hold or commit to obtaining public liability insurance of at least $10 million before executing a funding deed. • Proposed works must be consistent with program objectives and comprise eligible activities. • Proposed activities must comply with local, New South Wales and Australian government regulations and legislation. • Applicants must have paid all outstanding North Coast Local Land Services financial obligations before receiving a funding agreement.
Applicants must be commercial blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, or vegetable/edible herb growers located in the Clarence, Coffs Harbour, Bellinger and Nambucca LGAs, operating under an ABN. Works must be within those LGAs, in a coastal draining catchment, on land already used for horticultural production, and on private land or managed perpetual lease Crown land. Applicants must submit only one application per business, not have received prior funding for the proposed works, provide in-kind contributions at least equal to the grant requested, commit to 5 years of site maintenance, complete works within the 2024/2025 financial year, hold or commit to obtaining at least $10 million public liability insurance before executing a funding deed, comply with relevant laws and regulations, and have paid outstanding North Coast Local Land Services financial obligations before receiving a funding agreement.
