• Applicant must be a Local Government Council or an eligible not-for-profit organisation • Applicant must be covered by applicable insurance including Public Liability • Only one grant application is allowed per organisation • Local Government Councils can apply for up to $700 • Other eligible organisations can apply for up to $1000 • Event/activity must occur within Children's Week, 18 October to 26 October 2025 • Event/activity must be free of charge to Victorian children aged 0-12 years • Event/activity must be available to the public • Event/activity must demonstrate an educational outcome or benefit • Event/activity must explore the 2025 Children's Week theme • Event/activity must not promote commercial interests • Ineligible independent applicants include for-profit organisations, kindergartens, long day care services, occasional care services, outside school hours care services, family day care services, playgroups, schools, and individuals or sole traders • Some ineligible organisations may participate only through an eligible organisation that submits the application
Applicants must be either a Local Government Council or an eligible not-for-profit organisation and must hold applicable insurance including Public Liability. Only one application is permitted per organisation. Local Government Councils may apply for up to $700, while other eligible organisations may apply for up to $1000. The funded event or activity must occur within Children's Week 2025, be free of charge to Victorian children aged 0-12 years, be available to the public, demonstrate an educational outcome or benefit, explore the 2025 Children's Week theme, and not promote commercial interests. Ineligible applicants include for-profit organisations applying independently, kindergartens and their parent advisory groups and approved providers, long day care services and approved providers, occasional care services and approved providers, outside school hours care services and approved providers, family day care services and approved providers, playgroups, schools, and individuals or sole traders. Some otherwise ineligible organisations may participate only in partnership with an eligible organisation that submits the application.
