Who is eligible for the CBDs Revitalisation Program?
- Applicant must be a council, business or cultural institution.
- Project must be located in an eligible CBD or urban centre: Sydney, Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Chatswood, Fairfield, Hurstville, Kogarah, Liverpool, Macquarie Park, Manly, Newcastle, North Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith, Sydney Olympic Park or Wollongong.
- Project must primarily revitalise CBDs by attracting people and increasing connectedness and engagement.
- Project must align with the NSW Government’s NSW 24-Hour Economy Strategy, Destination NSW Visitor Economy Strategy, and/or the Open Spaces program.
- Application must include applicant details including ABN or other identifier and primary business activities.
- Application must include project description, total cost, grant amount requested, project location, scope, target group, expected benefits and delivery timeframes.
- Application must include implementation details, project plan, adverse weather plan, communications and marketing strategy, risk management plan and supporting documents.
- Applicant must provide evidence of experience delivering similar projects.
- Applicant must confirm co-contributions and partnerships where applicable.
- Applicant must provide financial statements for three continuous financial years, including an audited statement for the last financial year, or other evidence of financial viability.
