Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a cardiovascular researcher. • Applicant must be based in New South Wales for the duration of the 2-year grant. • Applicant must have the right to work in New South Wales for the duration of the grant. • Applicant must be employed for the duration of the grant by an eligible host organisation in New South Wales. • Eligible host organisation must conduct health and medical research and be a university, medical research institute, not-for-profit organisation, local health district, or other public health organisation. • Chief Investigator A must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold an appropriate visa for the duration of the grant. • The collaboration must include a minimum of 3 eligible research institutions. • At least 2 collaborating institutions must be based in New South Wales. • The collaboration must include at least 2 early-mid career researchers as Chief Investigators (10 years or less post-PhD, relative to opportunity). • The collaboration must include no more than 8 Chief Investigators. • Chief Investigator As who received a NSW Health Collaborative Grant in 2023 cannot apply.
Applicants are cardiovascular researchers who will be based in New South Wales and have the right to work in New South Wales for the two-year grant period. They must be employed for the duration of the grant by an eligible host organisation located in New South Wales that conducts health and medical research and is a university, medical research institute, not-for-profit organisation, local health district, or other public health organisation. Chief Investigator A must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold an appropriate visa for the duration of the grant. The collaboration must include at least three eligible research institutions, at least two of which are based in New South Wales, include at least two early-mid career researchers as Chief Investigators who are 10 years or less post-PhD relative to opportunity, and include no more than eight Chief Investigators. Chief Investigator As who received a NSW Health Collaborative Grant in 2023 are not eligible.
