Who Can Apply

Must work at an eligible New South Wales Clinical Trials Unit reporting to the Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Trials Portal. Must be employed in a clinical, medical or academic CTU role with at least 1 year of cancer clinical trials experience. ARCS applicants must be based in a regional, rural or remote New South Wales CTU; SCRS applicants may be from any New South Wales CTU. Must provide administering organisation endorsement and required supporting documentation.
Applicants must work at a Clinical Trials Unit in New South Wales that reports cancer clinical trial activity into the Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Trials Portal. For ARCS conference support, applicants must work in a regional, rural or remote New South Wales CTU, including public or private CTUs in Far West, Hunter New England, Illawarra Shoalhaven, Mid North Coast, Murrumbidgee, Northern New South Wales, Southern New South Wales or Western New South Wales. For SCRS support, applicants may work at a CTU in any part of New South Wales. Applicants must be employed in a clinical, medical or academic capacity within the CTU and have at least 1 year of experience in the public or private clinical trial sector in cancer clinical trials. Applicants must nominate an administering organisation responsible for financial management of the grant, being either a Local Health District for a public CTU or a private organisation for a private CTU, and that organisation must have policies and procedures for administration of public funds. An endorsement letter on letterhead from the administering organisation must be included at application, confirming endorsement, that no other travel grant application has been submitted by the applicant in this round, and agreement to the grant terms and conditions.
