The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments to Victorian schools to help eligible families cover the costs of school camps, sporting activities, excursions and similar extracurricular activities for eligible students. For 2026, eligible students can receive $400 per year, with applications submitted to schools by 26 June 2026.

Who is eligible for the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund?
- Student must attend a registered Victorian school
- Student must be of school age
- Applicant must meet general eligibility based on a financially means-tested concession card on the first student day of Term 1 (28 January 2026) or Term 2 (20 April 2026)
- Eligible applicants include a parent or carer with a financially means-tested card
- Eligible applicants may include a student over 16 who is a mature minor and holds a valid means-tested concession card
- Eligible applicants may include a parent or carer of a student aged 16 or over who holds a valid means-tested concession card but is not a mature minor
- Special consideration category 1 includes asylum seekers, Temporary Protection visa holders, and Humanitarian or Safe Haven visa holders who are not permanent residents
- Special consideration category 2 includes students in out-of-home care arrangements, including statutory kinship care, foster care and permanent care
- Student must not be attending pre-school, kindergarten or TAFE
- Student must not be home schooled
- Application must be submitted to the relevant school by 26 June 2026
