Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund

Applications are submitted to schools for eligible students attending a registered Victorian school. Students must be of school age and attend a registered Victorian school; the fund is not payable for pre-school, kindergarten, TAFE or home-schooled students. General eligibility requires that on the first student day of Term 1 (28 January 2026) or Term 2 (20 April 2026), the applicant is a parent or carer who is the beneficiary of a financially means-tested concession card, or a student over 16 who is a mature minor and holds a valid means-tested concession card, or a parent/carer whose child is 16 or over and is the beneficiary of a financially means-tested card but is not considered a mature minor. Special consideration is available for certain non-permanent residents without Centrelink access, including asylum seekers, Temporary Protection visa holders, and Humanitarian or Safe Haven visa holders who are not permanent residents, as well as students in out-of-home care arrangements. Supporting evidence is required for special consideration applications. Applications for 2026 must be submitted to the relevant school by 26 June 2026.
