Applicants must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and be either an entity incorporated in Australia, or an individual or partnership that agrees to form a company incorporated in Australia to enter into a grant agreement. Joint applications are acceptable if there is an eligible lead organisation that is the main driver of the project. Applicants must provide all mandatory attachments. Commonwealth, state and local government agencies or bodies, including government business enterprises, are not eligible. Universities are not eligible to apply, though they may participate as project partners. Startups with no revenue are eligible. Applicants cannot receive funding for the same project from another Commonwealth government grant and, if successful under more than one Commonwealth program, must choose one.

What's Funded

Expected Outcomes

Feasibility projects are expected to demonstrate the technical and commercial feasibility of the proposed solution. Successful projects may then progress to proof of concept development of a working solution that supports engagement with modern awards.
