Who Can Apply

• Applicant must currently have a commercial and industrial waste service at a site in New South Wales • Applicant must have a valid ABN • Applicant must employ one or more full-time employees in New South Wales • Applicant must currently send commercial and industrial waste to landfill in New South Wales or process/recycle commercial and industrial waste generated by businesses • Eligible entities can include registered charities, not-for-profits, public entities including schools and hospitals, and government organisations • Application must be submitted by an eligible applicant • Equipment or technology must be installed on the applicant's property and commence operation within 3 months of signing a Funding Deed • Equipment or technology must support the program objectives • Equipment cannot have been ordered, procured, leased or installed before rebate approval • Equipment or technology must divert or avoid new tonnes of waste going to landfill, or for eligible food waste projects improve recovery, reduce contamination or improve service efficiency and/or costs • Equipment or technology must meet EPA rebate funding thresholds • Equipment must reside on a site in New South Wales and divert waste generated in New South Wales • Purchased equipment must be operated and maintained for the term of the Funding Deed • Leased equipment must be leased, operated and maintained for at least 12 months from installation • Applicant must provide a minimum 50% monetary co-contribution • Equipment must have at least a 12-month warranty and meet Australian Standards
