Applicants must be established and financially sound small Queensland businesses with potential for high growth within the next 2 years. The business must have fewer than 20 employees by headcount, an active Australian Business Number, GST registration, and a registered Queensland headquarters location. It must have aggregated turnover between $500,000 and $10 million in the 2024-25 financial year, a minimum trading history of 3 years, and 2 years of high growth defined as an average annual 20% increase in turnover and/or employment over the last 2 years. The business must have clearly defined growth and employment opportunities in Queensland, must not be insolvent, and its owners/directors must not be bankrupt or undischarged from bankruptcy. Businesses previously approved for funding under earlier Business Growth Fund rounds are not eligible. Eligibility must be maintained for the duration of the funded project.
