Applicants must be small and family businesses located in Queensland with fewer than 20 employees (headcount) and experiencing high growth. The program targets businesses able to accelerate growth, drive Queensland's economy and employ more Queenslanders. Funding must be used to purchase innovative and/or specialised equipment that directly contributes to scaling business growth, productivity, competitiveness, employment and economic returns. Successful applicants must provide at least 50% matched funding of total project costs. Registrations of interest are required first, and only applicants that pass the eligibility check and initial assessment will be invited to submit a full application for competitive assessment.
